Organic Maps・Offline Map & GPS

It's really free! You can save routes, you can track your current route, and it really does work offline! I go hiking often, and have problems with other maps because they don't work right with airplane mode. Ik I sound like a paid promotion, but I've been using the app for like 2 years now, and it has been nothing but fantastic. I was even able to download my saved hikes from another app and import them here. Absolutely fantastic, please don't ever change your MO Organic Maps! 💜

Great free app - hard to find the niche functionality I've been looking for. Edited rating due to still a few gaps. Only complaint (feature request) would be to have a map option that hides locations that are not my saved bookmarks. It gets busy and hard to spot MY places in the midst of the rest. Also lists can't be sorted, and one place is only possible to be on one list.

I need to test it more but it seems somewhat slow to initiate the routing. Also when you find a place it'd be nice to just have "get directions" instead of selecting "route to" or "route from". Search seems a little picky for finding smaller businesses. It definitely does not find the best route and frequently drops me into bumper to bumper traffic jams.

Excellent map experience. Super helpful knowing that I can get directions when data is unavailable or using a power saving or airplane mode. It also doesn't hide some search results or prefer businesses that pay to show up in search results. Want to know all the restaurants within a block of you? No problem, and no "hot-new-spot" two miles away at the top of the results!!

This app is an excellent alternative to Google Maps. That being said, it does lack a few quality of life features (such as Android Auto support, which is coming in a branch on GitHub). My only real gripe is a big one though - it doesn't always navigate you to the exact location of landmarks (for example, Disney Springs sends you to the valet pickup instead of the entrance).
