1★I am so disappointed in this app for my android phone. it literally takes a couple minutes of waiting to open a website, and some of them just time out, even though all permissions are a yes and the settings are all open. For example, the Libby app Will only open if I turn AVG off. That is one I use daily. I'm sorry I paid for a whole year. I will definitely. not renew and may even Uninstal it.

3★I have the paid version. It's just as pointlessly aggressive as the PC version. You have to have everything on or you are a bad person. It just complains all the time. VPN is fine but it also limits you access to certain websites at all like ign or Amazon. I had McAfee and it was not as intrusive but useless. It is why I switched. Anyway little explanation on why a scan has issues besides having to turn everything on does not help. None of these products are all good.

4★I find AVG AntiVirus to be very informative and helpful, and I am glad to have it installed! I do realize that using the free edition comes with the cost of having to endure ads. Unfortunately, some of the ads do NOT provide an escape route once the ad has finished, causing me to have to RESTART my device, which, of course is very frustrating!

4★Have used the free version of this app for years! Always works, never had an issue. Lost a star for continually sending notifications to upgrade. If I need to upgrade, I will! But that's a minor inconvenience compared to what the app does to keep my phone clean. I like that it warns me about potential threats when it sees me try to go to a sketchy site. The UI is easy to understand. I like a simple, straightforward app so I love AVG! (The notifications to upgrade, not so much.)
