I have really enjoyed my daily 'Blinks' for quite awhile now. if you watch for discount offers for a yearly subscription it is well worth it. I have read several books listed on Blinkist and they do a really good job to include not just the main takeaway and key insights, but they capture the tone and feel of each book as well. They have a wide selection, including new releases as well as vintage classics, all that cover topics intended to educate on various subjects.

I'm my opinion, the app is more USEABLE for people who spend money on it. I expect an app to be completely functional even if on a basic level (containing adds, plain customization options, no extra special luxury type features included in free version) I expect when I spend money on an app to get premium features, not essential features. I expect to pay to remove adds or have more variety of customizable options, perks that aren't necessary but are a luxury. free version seemed like a sample.

They get you interested with $25 for the first year, then don't warn you or remind you, and charge you $200 for the second year... typical. I should stop falling for these scams, but I expect better behavior from a company like this. It is an ok service, but the titles get repetitive. I haven't used it in months, but I've just paid another $200 for the next year, so I won't be using it. Cancel immediately if you pay a reasonable amount for year 1!!!

The app says there is a 7-day free trial—this is not true. You will be billed for $79.99 to try the app & you're locked in for a year with auto-renewal set up for you (thanks!). After 2 days of limited, boring content, I decided to cancel. That's well within 7-days, but I'm still out $80 & I have a full year of a worthless service I don't want & will never use. So much for a free trial—don't make the same mistake I made in trying this garbage app out.
