Cars.com: Buy and sell cars

The latest app update has ruined the experience. I can no longer do an advanced search from the home screen of the app. When I do a search I have to go in there and manually enter everything. Then, if I close the app and open it back up it has removed all my filters for the search I was just on. Sort options aren't saved now either. Now, when I click on a car and then have to go back to the search results it will go all the way to the top of the page. Ridiculous

Well, the app itself works fine. Listings are horrible. For example, if l search for manual trans car, more than a half of cars listed WILL say it is manual, but then you look at the pics and clearly see it's an automatic. Or if l search for a diesel, a lot of regular gas cars will list as diesel where you can clearly see they're not. I know, it's a seller's fault, but the app should not let anybody list whatever they want.

The app used to be 5 stars but after the latest updates I have to give it a 3. There are two issues that I wanted to discuss. The first one being that when you search for a car and filter the results it automatically sets the search radius to 30 miles even when I selected no limit. My second issue is that you can no longer search with advanced settings. If you want to filter the search to only see 8 cylinder engines you must search the car THEN go up to the top to go to advance settings.

I feel like this app is getting worse. It doesn't always follow your search parameters. When you do scroll through your search, it skipps ahead and you miss seeing many cars. This is very noticeable if you limit your search to how many miles a vehicle has. I'm finally giving up completely on this app. I only wish you fix this for others.

was my go to app to track the car market as well as find cars to buy myself. now it's very unusable with this new update. it's very unstable and crashes. it does not let me pre filter the selection for price. features, body style, and etc. now you have to search the car and THEN filter from the huge list of results. It's just a terrible update that seems to be shoehorning in AI, but made everything else WORSE
