Solid text-to-speech app. I use it mainly to listen to technical PDFs, disclaimers, and terms and conditions by pasting in copied text, and it handles them well. Two consistent issues: it occasionally skips a few words, and pronunciation gets shakier when I push the speed to 1.1x–1.3x. Outside of that, it's been reliable, and I've seen noticeable quality improvements over the last two to three months of use.

it is limited. It changes the text. It took several sentences and cut it down to "It". I had to look up what it was referring to. then it ended and started sentences at the wrong points and changed the words, cutting some out, to make it make sense. Not for science articles, but maybe casual novels?

This software is hot garbage! full of ads and bloat to try and get you to buy it without really seeing how it works. after a dozen screens of ads that are not intuitive to bypass, there's finally a screen where you can paste text. this is when you find that until you pay, you only get a few seconds of broken reading that swallows entire words and has trouble with punctuation. you then can't skip and read other parts, only a ~15 second first portion. worthless!

Unsubscribed within minutes of use. It doesn't read text as it's written. It changes words and adds letters when reading abbreviations of words. It makes noises for bullet points. This app needs a lot of work before charging a subscription fee. This should be free until you perfect it. It's a great concept idea. But it's not ready to be charging to use it. Especially when your only subscription tier available is a weekly subscription at $7.99. I expected it to be functional for that price.

It asked me to rate and review immediately after the little 8 second intro before doing literally anything. I was going to give the app 5 stars just to applaud that initiative but then it didn't let me pick a voice. That was fine, I could do that later. Then I hit the upload button and was at my limit before I even started. I downloaded an ad and a "That's all you get for free," message.
