Golf Pad: Golf GPS & Scorecard

this app is awesome! tells you how many yards it is to the hole. it even has a map function which will show you the hold you're on and where you are and where the hole is. keeps track of scores fairly easily dividing up shots and putts. I like this better than a watch because you don't have to worry about whether it's charged as long as your phone is charged.

This is my second time using Golf Pad and tags. The first time (year) was aggravating as my phone wouldn't register my club selection every time. It ended up my phone case had everything to do with it, too thick. This time I have a new Google Pixel 9 with a thin case and it registers everything! It's great that it learns my club distances and makes recommendations on next club. Its like having a caddy.

The new version and update of Golf Pad is excellent.!! In combination with the use of Tags, I get excellent feedback from every single round. My Golf Pad information analysis of each round has helped me cut at least two to three strokes off my next round. Over the last month I've dropped 10 stroke. This is an awesome app and a great bang for the buck compared to others that are on the market.

I have used this app for 3 years now and the changes they have made to it during that time have been awesome. Plays like distances include the weather (including temp and wind) plus elevation and they are right on. When you stop at your ball it tells you what club to use. I no longer use my laser device because this app is better. The only thing I would add would be automatic distance tracking of shots with a big number you can read displayed under the plays like distance.

The app is ok. It's solid for the most part. Good information. Ok UI. The real issue for me is the scoring on the watch. You have to hit a button for every single shot. It used to be you put in the score at the end. Put in total, putts, and penalties. Now it's way less convenient. You either teach each shot as you go or you stand there on the green at the end hitting "track" then "shot" or "putt". It's just cumbersome. Go back to the old way please. Edit: shot tracking is off
