EVgo Fast EV Charging Stations

The chargers only work 30% of the time and if you contact customer support they're completely unhelpful. they can't answer simple questions in a timely fashion that should be available in the app. The app tells you your charging credits can expire but it won't tell you when. If you contact customer support they can't tell you either. If I didn't receive charging credits for evgo when I bought my car I wouldn't use their chargers. completely unreliable, about on par with Electrify America.

My wife's app charged our car at an EvGo station. The app had a glitch and said we didn't owe anything. Then 3 months later, we get a notice from collections. EvGo didn't tell us there was an issue, didn't ask us to come back and pay after correcting the error, they just quietly sent us to collections. With friends like that who needs enemies?

App is slow and clunky, does not accurately display chargers available/in use. Prices have gone up and the peak pricing is ridiculous, there are much cheaper options. I can't even see the screens on the physical charger, have to use the app to see my progress and it takes awhile to load even on strong 5g.

People are stealing reservations! They're exploiting the reservation option to steal your line and hijack your machine. Someone saw me using the machine and immediately reserved from the app before I could plug it in, so took over my spot with the cable in my hand! Because there's no minimum time limit. Who's the genius never thought about that?? You need to put a time limit at least 15 minutes for reservation to be valid to prevent this from happening.

The app got updates recently (you can tell cause everything is yellow now) and it's just horrible now. It logs me out everytime I close the app and it takes a long time to load everything. Sometimes it doesn't load at all! I can't see my transactions for example. It keeps showing me the loading icon and never moves past that. Wished I hadn't updated the app...
