I love the game overall. although the recent updates and additions leave me disappointed. it's definitely leaking more towards pay to get anywhere. thereused to be a lot more options for the free to play side, but now it's very unbalanced in that regard. the new era system is definitely a good example of that. while the game is still fun to play, it's not quite as enjoyable when you hit a wall which makes you decide if you want to grind for months, or in some cases over a year, or pay.

The game itself is fun but after level 50, be prepared to spend a lot of money to keep up. EA really knows how to milk people. The new Conquest mode is a lot of fun and allows you to use characters you're bringing up. The new Era gameplay is atrocious. The Coliseum is boring and you have to be prepared for the poor RNG. No one plays ships so that's broken, for the most part, but there are still some aspects of the game that are fun. When you have 10-11 million gps, it's difficult to walk away.

Glitchy!! especially when they change and try to add new stuff. it was really fun when I 1st started now its like they keep changing the way the game plays in order to find or make more ways for us to spend money to try and keep up. if you want to be a free to play player you wont get very far on this game. if you do then you have spent years trying to level up your characters. you may never get them characters to full strength without spending. im thinking about deleting moving on.

What started off as fun and exciting several years ago has turned insufferable and disappointing. Over the past couple years, the game has implemented incessant microtransaction pop-ups. Most recently, it has added a new "feature" which is nothing more than a shallow cash grab. The Coliseum is engineered to severely limit player advancement to entry level without paying hundreds of dollars to progress new released characters. The greed and insult to the loyal player base have gotten out of hand.

2025: The latest update is awful. It sucks that for the 10th anniversary they decided to suck any fun out of unlocking the newest characters. Added new game modes that you basically can't play unless you drop $300+ on a character every two weeks. They won't be getting any more money from me. 2016: Very fun, good time killer. No need to buy stuff if you don't want to.
