Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire

This is a nice app, offering prices that are far more competitive than on the other marketplaces. However, the risk of receiving a defective item (or one that doesn't match the advertised description or photos) is significantly higher here. And even in such cases, Temu's policy is quite accommodating; they readily issue refunds if a customer isn't satisfied with their purchase for any reason. But the amount of spam featuring various "discounts" and endless animations is overwhelming.

Pop up promotions have become too annoying and intrusive within the app! Temu has become Adyu! The ads for promotions must go! I used to like the app. I even buy a fair amount but today it took at least 8 or 9 times clicking "X" just to get to the search page. If it doesn't stop, I'm done with Temu regardless of any discounted price.

Temu is easy to work with!!!!!! since this review in 2024 I have learned a lot about Temu!!!! I wasn't aware of how the returns are done but I know now in 2026 I purchased at least 100 or more items since 2024 Temu loves me! although they sometimes give you the wrong item as far as style or color but they go out of their way to correct the problem, also I must say I have received the wrong items in the past. but, style, fashion, and price has kept me coming back! I'm addicted!!

I LOVED this app, and made quite a few purchases. Now.... not so much. So tired of the lies, the misleading "promotions", the gambling approach to trying to guilt you into purchases, the 45 seconds of splash screens of fake wins that I often can't skip, etc. After yesterday I'm done. I followed all of the stipulations to a promotion that they emailed me, to get 2 free items. After 2 hours with "support" I was basically told "you're wrong, that promotion didn't exist, and you're out of luck"

👍 UPDATE 2: I've been using Temu for a couple of years and still have no complaints. 👍 UPDATE I've been using Temu for just almost a year and bought many, many things. I am still giving it 5⭐! I have been super pleased with my purchases, and on the few occasions that the item didn't work out, it was very easy to do a return/refund. I wish there was something like this with things made in the USA, but hey, if I'm going to buy stuff that's made in China, might as well get a bargain!
