Samsung Food: Meal Planner

I wanted to love this app because it has a "Food List" to track pantry items, but it doesn't let you add quantities, so it's hard to know what I actually have. Recipes don't show which ingredients I have in my Food List, and when I add the ingredients to my shopping list, it adds everything, even items I already have, and only says "you might already have salt or pepper". The "import from anywhere" feature isn't great either, it fails to import recipes or their ingrediets that other apps can.

Love love LOVE this app! Just a little bit of constructive criticism... It's annoyingly complicated to navigate to my saved recipes (lots of clicks to pull one up). I wish there was a link directly to my collections from the start page. I also wish it had the ability to store PDF recipes or screenshots since I have a ton that I either didn't get online or can no longer locate online. It makes me a little nervous that if a recipe is removed from the internet, I assume it'll be gone from the app.

Edit: I don't know if Samsung quit supporting the app or what has happened, but it's now unusable. Literally. Networking errors. Having to cleared cache, logout, delete saved data, and now, you can't even login. Easy to use and organize recipes. Cuts out having to read the dumb stories and unnecessary info people put in their recipes. Just copy the link and it pulls the ingredients.

Really great app! For improvements, I think a star rating system for recipes would be better than just thumbs up or down, since it gives more range. I'd also change the interface to show more of the recipes I found on other platforms to my homepage. And color/theme customization is always a bonus!Plus, it's awesome that it's free for Samsung users, so we don't have to go anywhere else. I was about to download another app until someone mentioned this does the same thing!

In the last four months, this app has gone down hill. besides not letting me add recipes to my weekly plan, I opened it today and it just wouldn't load. I optimized my phone, cleared the cache, and cleared data. When I opened the app it asked me to sign in with my Samsung account, but clicking the sign in button did nothing. Then when I clicked, "trouble accessing your account?" it took me to a screen to enter my email and to report the problem, however clicking submit did nothing.
