Great journalism, but the app has some pain points. It will lose it's place when scrolling a list of articles, clicking one, and navigating back. Switching back to the app will return you to your place in an article, but relaunching the app takes you to the home screen and you have to find the article (and where you left off) again. There's also no way to see which articles you've read, let alone what percentage you've made it through.

The journalism is timely, insightful, and important, especially for investors and analysts. They also offer a student discount, which is always nice. The problem is that discount is for the digital subscription---which would be fine had it been more readily apparently that there's not only a (far more expensive) premium tier above that, but there's no such discount for the premium tier. I only realized this upon spotting here and there (unreadable) articles available only to premium subscribers.

Sales tactic are unfair, borderline scam. I subscribed to the FT through a promotional offer in February. I decided it was not for me and un-subscribed a few days later on their website, which is very cumbersome. 6 months later I realized they were still billing me... I paid over $350 for a service I didn't use and they now refuse to reimburse me...

Great articles! I love the voice assistance but it would be nicer if the voice didn't sound so robotic. Sounds like the default voice from 2010! It would also be great if you could add AI summaries for a quick glance. That'll be very handy for a quick review before diving deep in.

This is the best news app I have tried so far. Great and simple layout. Does what it's supposed to do without any bloat. Doesn't send you any advertisements. Non-sensationalist headlines and informative content. Of course you do need a subscription for the FT. Very happy with the overall experience.
