GrowIt: Vegetable Garden Care

Very good planner with fairly accurate information and easy to understand breakdowns of most any plant you can think of. Missing some quality of life stuff, like being able to choose Celcius or Fahrenheit. the scanner falls very short tho, it will likely fail to identify or diagnose any issues. Aside from that, this is a solid app. There are some pay features. They're completely optional, and to be fair, it's only five bucks, so if it's helpful, why not help the devs.

Pretty cool app. Gave 4 stars due to the limit of plants and species of plants you can add. For example, I have a Orange marmalade pepper but the only option for pepper is bellpepper, peppers, jalapeño. There is a lot of room for improvement with this app especially if you want people to pay. for Basil you offer different species but for tomato its one option, when there's TONS of species of tomato. Once the plants/species improves then I may get a subscription. Allow members to add plants.

overall I like the app so far, but my biggest complaint is logging watering dates if I forgot to log it the day of. when I go to adjust the dates, most of the time, it will automatically select "last watered today" but it was a different date I kept trying to enter. I try not to forget to update the app but the couple times I have threw me off. it's really annoying and inconvenient

Good during trial! Not good after subscribing! I was getting constant reminder notifications during trial but not after purchasing. Also, it takes several times to get the app to open, always trying to reconnect. I was hoping this would be the right app for me. It would be, if you can get it to open and actually use it, if notifications worked and I didn't lose money. I have done this for so many apps and afterwards they still don't work. I wasted my money on this app and no respinsw to emails!

I paid for this app thinking I would get detailed info, personalized tips and help for the veggies I'm growing, but you get VERY little, basic, summarized info and there are honestly no features that make me want to come back to the app. You get generic water/fertilize reminders, and those are the most helpful tools I've observed. Googling has given me more answers, more than 1 generic photo of the plant, and it's free. Big disappointment.
