MapQuest: Get Directions

Really wanted to like this classic product. I like the way it looks. Unfortunately it is very limited in setting options and UI is not as good as Google. Unable to edit my saved places. Went through the process and edited the address in settings, but it does not save. Also I had to enter 4 different verification codes before it actually logged in.

Needs some work. Telling me to remain on the highway when that's literally my only option (unless I want to take off through some corn fields) repeatedly gets annoying. And for some reason it wants me to go several miles out of my way to get to a certain destination. It's very strange. I do love the cute car icon choices and the quest complete message but I'd prefer accuracy in my navigation over adorable UI.

It was a great app before you forcibly upgraded it on me. Hint: if it's not broken, don't fix it. It's virtually impossible to exit out of an ongoing route, leaving the app to run continuously in the background, drain my battery, and constantly sending me icons/messages of my route, which I can't exit out of. I've uninstalled the app, then reinstalled it. To no avail. Go back to the original version. It worked.

Map quest was changed recently and I can't stand it! It is extremely difficult to work. It was so very easy before and now I have extreme difficulties; not to mention stress trying to navigate it. Not everyone is tech savvy and being 'old school' these changes are more advanced than this 67 yr old woman should have to deal with!!!!!! your map is useless!!!!

Very long time user, and I wish to give this app more stars, but it has become more confusing to use. Often, the auto-nav won't run, and I ain't got time to be reading the screen for directions when I'm driving. Using a road map is far less frustrating than using the app. I was about to delete this app forever, but just got an update that "seems" to have fixed the problem, so will run it awhile again. I prefer the old UI setup, and i hope i dont have further issues, because the G app is worse.
