Cleo AI: Cash Advance & Money

App used to be decent, now it all just feels like a scam. I'm eligible for $300, but I can only take up to $100 per 24 hours, and if I want it quicker I have to pay the 8 dollar fee for each transaction. That's AFTER paying the monthly fee. Plus, the app has gotten so difficult to load lately. I haven't even been able to check anything on it at all today, I keep being told "there's been a problem". I think this app is on it's way out the door, and I'm deleting. There are way better options.

Unsure about app currently. I have been using for some time now and just recently started having problems with it. I had to fully remove my checking account, uninstall, and re-install just to see if it was a user error vs an app issue. Will report back shortly. **Edit: re-installed and still no dice. I cannot add or update my checking account information at all to use.

Like a couple other reviews said, since the most recent update, I'm also getting stuck on "loading" when I attempt to get my advance. This is at the last step after choosing the amount and to where, pay-back method, and date. I've been using Cleo for YEARS, more consistently and with less issues than many of the other cash advance apps, this is the first time having a problem, but to me, should have been fixed by now (more promptly), especially when one is paying a subscription fee. Please fix!!

Even though it tells you, you do not need to subscribe. In order to use the service, it will force you to pick a subscription anyways. I chose the $5.99 basic package to see what they had to offer. I was not happy with their offering. ($40 with a non optional $6.99 instant deposit fee) I canceled the service and they refuse any type of refund. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

This app use to be good. Not anymore and don't count on customer service to be of help. I cannot use the bank free option for my advance because it fails and CS said it's because of the bank connection being busy but I have tried multiple times at different times of the day still doesn't work. So the only option is the express which is $10.99. Also, you can't take the total amount approved for at once but only a small amount at a time and have to wait 24 hours for each request.
