Getting Started

- Download and install Tarteel from the Google Play Store. Grant microphone and internet permissions as prompted.
- Open the app and create an account or sign in. Choose your preferred Mushaf style (Madani or Indo-Pak) from Settings.
- Start with free features: recite aloud while the AI follows along, or use Voice Search to find any Surah or Ayah by saying a phrase.
- For memorization practice, hide the verses and recite from memory. Tarteel will track your voice and highlight any mistakes or skipped words in real time.
- Set custom Goals (e.g., 'Review Juz 30' or 'Surah Al-Kahf every Friday') to plan your memorization and revision schedule.
- Use the Progress dashboard to view streaks, heatmaps, and historical mistakes. Tap on highlighted errors to see the correct Ayah.

4★it will be beneficial if you add mistake prompter feature in memorization, which can be toggled on and off as per the desire. if there's a mistake in memorization and the reciter is unable to correct/recall it while revision within 5-6 seconds (or time selection), then the mistake should be highlighted and prompted. It would make the revision recitation more convenient.

3★Tarteel premium is a great app. It has beautiful recitations built in, a great tracking system and error markers for your own recitation, and a broad amount of translations. Unfortunately, it fails at a single key aspect of being an app- notifications. I regularly do NOT get notifications for Friday recitation of Surah Al Kahf, nightly notifications about surah al-Mulk, and other custom notifications. I have had this app for over a year, and even after un/reinstalling it has not been fixed.

4★Great app I love it. But I'm facing an error recently, the app is not working and not responding to any commands, I tried uninstalling and clearing app data and cashe and nothing helped. The problem started 3 days ago out of a sudden, before that it was working completely fine. I hope you can figure out a solution for this problem. Thank you for your efforts.

2★this app used to be great, used it for the last couple years but now it's become very unreliable. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work, or it works but too slow, the words show up a line before where I'm reciting. To make it work I have to keep trying different things like clearing cache, logging out and in, reinstalling the app, etc. and the technical support doesn't provide too much in terms of solutions, just gives general tips. It should be getting better over time, not worse.

4★the latest update was not good. I used to be able to swipe to switch from listening to reading modes, now it's 2 clicks. also I used to access bookmarks with 1 click, now it's also 2 clicks. annoys me when they got it right and then they go backwards. there should also be an option to change the timeout when you're silent. great App overall of course Alhamdulillah.
