Plane Finder - Flight Tracker

Still in the 7 day free trial, but not sure if the price is worth it for me in the app's current state. It has a ton of unfulfilled potential. Unfortunately I frequently have to do a web search of the aircraft info from the app to get any truly useful info. 100% of the time for helicopters and any non-major airlines. That shouldn't be the case. At least have a built-in option to do the search from the app. And when the first result says it's a police helicopter, they can't say that in the app?

Great flight tracking app. Real-time "live" and accurate tracking. I like the map and labeling options. Seems to use less system resources - runs in the background less than others. Very good deal for the year subscription. Extremely friendly and helpful customer support. Of course there are ads in the free version, that's how products work. No ads for pro/paid version. And I saw other reviews stating the presence of ads on their paid version. So I double checked and there definitely are't any.

This "Lite" version is more of an ad delivery system than a trial or representation of what to expect from the paid version. First it starts off on the opposite side of the world, and you have to manually navigate to your current location. I should say attempt to. The app crashes every time you swipe very far...so I cannot try the app in my location. The ads load flawlessy every time though.

Great app, plenty to customize if you upgrade. can set your own flight reminders in advance and it's supposed to update any changes but not to good at that as I tried it with a flight I've taken and it only really seemed to update the day of although the airline company had already changed my flight number and times I had to go in and search for that one to save it as well. other than that, seems like a great app. I like the filter option for the different aircraft. just add rotating screen.

Was very good, but has suddenly started aggressively displaying 3rd party video ads with audio, that inevitably pop up whenever you're in a public place, so everyone can hear them. Long ads, can't be skipped, irrelevant and annoying. Pretty typical occurrence whenever a good app becomes popular. Looking for an alternative. Shame.
