4★I originally subscribed to Karafun because I liked their quality as a karaoke service. Tempo and key control and voice volume are features I cannot live without, as long as they are implemented with quality. Unfortunately, their standard of quality is inconsistent. Some songs have merged vocal tracks, so I cannot sing just one part and have the track handle the rest. It's still quite a high-quality service and app, but that leaves it disappointing when it misses the mark.

3★I want to like this app. For the monthly fee they charge I would expect two things, accurate words and great music. Nothing's perfect, and as a software engineer I very much understand that. The music isn't bad but I don't like having to find the REAL words to the songs. That's what I pay you for. The other features are value added fluff to set you apart from the competition. Which is great, after your core features are solid.

5★Have used this for a few large parties. I love the remote option to add performers behind the scenes, and the library is great. Often multiple versions of songs to choose from and very few songs that I couldn't find. The option to change tempo and key are great, and I love the option to fade in the original artists to assist the not-so talented karaoke performers.

5★Feb 2026-Problem fixed. Thank you! Updating rating. July 2025-Was working fine until a few months ago. Option to change key of song doesn't work until the song has been playing for a minute or more. very frustrating that it takes that much time for feature to become available which means a lot of waiting and then restarting the song to be able to sing it once I'm able to change the key. Restarted phone. Uninstalled app and reinstalled and doesn't seem to correct the issue. what else is possible?

One of the best features was being able to change the key to match your vocal range and now that doesn't work anymore either. I am a long time subscriber and am probably going to cancel. VERY disappointed!
