been using the app since it come out. never issues. I was checking out robinhood gold. and wanted to do the monthly subscription to try it out. It was suppose to charge my card on file. It automatically charged my line bank account instead and won't let me cancel the transfer less then 30 second after it hit. plus it charged me for the whole year. im selling everything off and closing out my account with them. tried to contact them for help. cant get past there AI automation. please beware

Would give zero stars if I could. I’ve been using this service since 2018 with no issues, and suddenly I’m forced to go through ID verification and a selfie check. The ID verification went through, but then I was put in a queue for a call, had to verify everything all over again, and was told the system didn’t actually verify my ID. I wasted over an hour dealing with this for no reason. Extremely frustrating experience and a complete waste of time.

Robinhood used to be a really useful app for me, but in recent times it has been a massive disappointment. New features aren't very good. The app is way more complicated than it to used to be. it used to be very simple to find things. And to top it all off, I've been waitlisted for the Robinhood gold credit card for 2+ years. despite my Robinhood account always being in good standing, high credit score, and gold subscriber for 2 years. super frustrating. Switching to fidelity soon. Massive L

the company uses AI for support a lot of the time. When you do get through to a real person, they're so quick to cut the chat off. I can hardly ever explain what problem is. I've been having issues with my options. chain crashing my app for months. I've tried to get it acknowledged and it is completely ignored and it's affecting my ability to trade.

DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY. Their execution times for purchasing and selling are so much slower than other brokers! They always screw you over by giving you a way worse price when you buy and sell at market price. Not to mention the amount of errors and glitches that you get. For example, you buy an option and it does not even show up on Robinhood Legend, their web-based platform, and you have to panic and log into your app from your phone to get rid of your positions. SCAM, stay away!
