Pros & Cons
Based on analysis of Google Play user reviews
Pros
- The app's new update with vocal range tracking is praised by a recent reviewer low
Theme 'useful new feature' identified in recent_reviews #2. This reviewer independently highlighted the ability to track highest note and overall vocal range as a positive update.
Evidence (1)
“The new update is great! It tells you what your highest note was, and your overall vocal range. I've been working on my lower registry, so I was quite happy to find out that I fell into those lower registries that I wanted.”Rating: 5★ December 22, 2025 259 likes - The app offers a great variety of songs and quality audio output low
Theme 'song variety and quality' identified in recent_reviews #4. This reviewer specifically praised the variety of songs and audio quality as a positive aspect, despite criticizing the VIP cost.
Evidence (1)
“The variety of songs and the quality is amazing! But It's definitely not worth the VIP.”Rating: 2★ January 06, 2026 10 likes
Cons
- Audio recording quality issues, including distorted or missing voice output, are a recurring recent concern medium
Theme 'audio distortion' identified in two independent recent reviews. recent_reviews #1 describes output sounding like hash and not recording their voice; recent_reviews #5 describes the recorded voice sounding like a robot. This pattern appears in 2 of the 5 reviews.
Evidence (2)
“The output sounded like hash, and it didn't even record my voice -- just the video and the music.”Rating: 2★ January 13, 2026 26 likes“When I'm using this app, it allows me to sing perfectly fine. But, after the recording is finished, my voice sounds distorted, like a robot or something”Rating: 1★ July 04, 2021 115 likes - The free version is highly restrictive, requiring payment for basic features like solo recording medium
Theme 'restrictive free tier' identified in recent_reviews #3 and #4. recent_reviews #3 states the user has to pay for what they feel should be free and the app locks after one song. recent_reviews #4 notes free users can only sing duets, with everything else requiring a VIP account, and that free songs are extremely limited.
Evidence (2)
“it sucks that you have to pay for something that should be free, and by that I mean the user should have control over what they want to sing, and the app doesn't allow me into it after a single song recording”Rating: 2★ February 24, 2026 1 likes“You could only sing duets for free everything else has to be with a VIP account. (except if you get the free songs but those are extremely limited)”Rating: 2★ January 06, 2026 10 likes - VIP subscription is perceived as too expensive for the value it provides low
Theme 'VIP cost' identified in recent_reviews #4. This reviewer explicitly stated the VIP is not worth the price, calling it genuinely so expensive for only a week.
Evidence (1)
“But It's definitely not worth the VIP. It's genuinely so expensive for only a week!”Rating: 2★ January 06, 2026 10 likes

2★Fun app -- if it works properly. The output sounded like hash, and it didn't even record my voice -- just the video and the music. Not my phone, as the sound on my video camera was very clear. I would continue using this, but only if there is a fix to the sound, or a workaround to make it work. Otherwise, I won't be renewing when my subscription is up.

5★The new update is great! It tells you what your highest note was, and your overall vocal range. I've been working on my lower registry, so I was quite happy to find out that I fell into those lower registries that I wanted. The app is easy to use and you can sing with people from around the world. There are also different styles of your favorite songs; so instead of singing the studio version, you can look for acoustic, piano or even a remix. Really fun! and the app doesn't crash at all.

2★I'll leave a 2 star review to be generous, it sucks that you have to pay for something that should be free, and by that I mean the user should have control over what they want to sing, and the app doesn't allow me into it after a single song recording, even though I live in a place with great internet. Just infinite load screens. Another gripe i have is how do duets even really work, when there's only one lead? Might as well just practice alone. For the rich, great app though.

2★The variety of songs and the quality is amazing! But It's definitely not worth the VIP. It's genuinely so expensive for only a week! You could only sing duets for free everything else has to be with a VIP account. (except if you get the free songs but those are extremely limited) furthermore, after a couple of days of using this app my recordings seem to lag behind the actual audio! Most of the other reviews agree. If they fix those two problems then this would be five stars for me.

1★When I'm using this app, it allows me to sing perfectly fine. But, after the recording is finished, my voice sounds distorted, like a robot or something and it's upsetting for many reasons. Also, when I first joined the app, you could sing solo/make a duet by watching some ads, yet you guys have taken that away. Some people don't like having to sing with other people, so they wanna do solo and stuff, while others, including me, think it'd be cool to make a duet again WITHOUT having V.I.P.
