TapRead - Read Good Story

I'm still reading the book that drew me in. I'll finish it no matter how long it takes. I object to paying for an app that makes pretenses of allowing me to build a relationship with them prior to paying money. The daily rewards are low and the cost for unlocking chapters is high. I honestly prefer apps that don't restrict access.. I have downloaded some apps that are generous and I can read every day without feeling restricted and even some apps that are free. TapRead is a trap.

I had almost a 1000 coins in my account and one book I had read most of only for my coins to disappear and my unlocked chapters relocked after logging in. It tells the information you need to give them to file a complaint, but gives you no way to contact them whatsoever. So there goes almost $23 down the drain! I hate apps like this that eat your money, but give you no way to get it back!!

Usually I'll listen to the books when I'm driving and for awhile they offered AI voices which were great and were much more realistic. For whatever reason 2 days ago, that feature disappeared andcits back to thev6 standard voices which is hard to listen to. Often time they spell out the words, especially if its a contraction or it really messes up certain pronunciation. Its painful to listen to. What happened to the AI voice option?

This app is a lie. They claim you can watch ads to get to be able to read the next chapter LIE. The coins packages they say are cheaper then most reading apps LIE you have to spend at least close to $100 to complete a story and half of them are still ongoing so you have wait for knows how long. This app is nothing but false advertisement.. Side note the stories are stolen from other authors they just change little things like names and time lines just enough so they won't get into trouble

Short chapters with too many per book and not enough free coins to actually read (each chapter is about 1.5 pages in a regular book, and these have 300-400 "chapters," each costing around 30 coins). You can get 5 coins per ad(limited number of them). Chapters are so short that the ads are longer than it takes to read the "chapter." A book will cost well over $100 when you buy the coins. Not worth it- would take a year to earn enough to actually read the book. I deleted the app.
