Target: Shop. Style. Save.

Generally, the app is really good. However, they recently added an update that shows you the price of your individual items in your cart with your discounts applied, such as having your redcard attached. I loved this as I could easily compare to other stores, but it seems they now have taken this away. I'm also upset that they got rid of the 1% back on purchases. I make many small purchases and never get up to what is required for the gift cards.

I just upgraded from the Galaxy S23 Ultra to the S25 Ultra. Now when I try to scan barcodes in the app to check prices and such, the scanner doesn't do anything and then I get an error box saying "An unexpected error occurred. Pease try again later." Since I work at target and use this feature when my MyDevice isn't working, this has caused some serious frustration. I've spent over an hour trying to troubleshoot the issue, made sure all permissions are given, etc. No luck. Just junk now.

My last review was from 2 years ago about how since the update I could not access my app. Well Target did it again. I'm completely locked out of my account now. I have no way to access my previous purchases, which includes shipping information that I need to know about. I have no way of signing in, even as a guest. It refused to do anything and all of my stuff is lost.

I don't typically write app reviews but the developers of this app have gone too far with CONSTANTLY changing integral features. Logged on this morning for some grocery shopping and wanted to scroll through the Circle deals. Too bad. You get to see 10 deals before you are forced to scroll EVERY SINGLE ITEM. Every update makes the app more difficult to use. This is all on top of the questionable decisions corporate has been making about other things... I'll stick to local grocers for now.

So convenient and super easy to navigate. I am obsessed with the app. I love that what's not in store can easily be found online and you don't need to search endlessly to find it. I love my target app and im a consistent and constant user. Keep the coupons and rewards and gift cards flowing. It makes me feel like Im getting something back for being a customer.
