TodayTix – Theatre Tickets

I usually love the app. I look to see what shows are playing and what the prices are all the time. But this time I was looking to book multiple shows in the same day and the app kept saying there were no available times or seats, even though the app indicated there were ticket availability for the date and time I wanted. So, I waited 10 minutes, rebooted my phone and tried again. Still nothing. So I bought a ticket to my next choice. Now, 24 hours later there are hundreds of open seats.

Easy to use app with a wide variety of plays, musicals, comedy, improv, operas, dance, etc. A great source for last-minute tickets. They offer the lowest priced tickets to certain shows (although some are priced the same or slightly more than other apps and services--do a bit of comparison shopping once you've decided on a show).

Mostly ok- I used it extensively in London. The rush tickets can be hard to get for the popular shows, but there's some good deals to be had. The problem I ran in to is out of the blue, I couldn't buy any tickets and all of my credit cards were declined. Their customer support insisted my cards were the problem, but they worked everywhere else. After going back and forth, they told me for whatever reason my account and cards had been flagged for fraud. I had to wait 7 days for it to clear.

This app used to work well. When it does,it's an excellent app Recently, it declines our credit cards. Not for lack of available credit. I booked one set of tickets without a problem. Tried to buy tickets for another show, and the card was declined. I called the card company. They said they had NOT declined any charges, and my card had ample available balance. My card wasn't being used fraudulently. Nor was the charge being declined by credit card co, only by TodayTix system. I hope they fix.

there were 6 of us traveling to NYC and we tried to buy our broadway tickets through this app. The app didn't work for any of us. however, every one of us had charges and refunds show up on our credit cards. the app is advertised everywhere in NYC, but it just doesn't work. When six people on different phones, different platforms, and different payment methods all can't make it work, I would say they have some major work to do.
