Evidence (2)
“Very good at letting me know when a bill is upcoming, as well as when my credit card has been charged a larger than usual amount. I love that feature, since you can't always trust the people who handle your credit card (restaurants, etc) and gives you a chance to get on top of a possible theft.”Rating: 4★ April 23, 2025 826 likes“Rocket Money places all your bills and spending into easy to read categories. I like that once the initial set up was done, the numbers didn't have to be entered manually. There is so much helpful advice on budge”Rating: 5★ July 04, 2025 973 likes - The app can lead to significant savings by visualizing spending low

Evidence (1)
“This app is a lot better than I'd hoped it would be, it has genuinely helped me save 100s, probably 1,000s by now! Being able to see exactly where every penny goes and sorting it into categories really helps you get a visual on your finances, on where you can improve and on where you need to spend l”Rating: 5★ August 28, 2025 757 likes
Cons

Theme 'bill negotiation failure' identified in recent_reviews #4. Reviewer 4 describes the feature as never successful and details a case where a negotiated discount was reversed and the app charged a portion.
Evidence (1)
“The app is good for a one-stop look at your accounts. It claims it can lower your bills, but that feature has never once been successful. It pretended to work once, lowered my Metronet bill by a bit, forced me to pay part of that saving, and then my next bill was increased by the same amount. I was ”Rating: 3★ August 12, 2025 568 likes - Subscription value and core features (credit score, budgeting, cancellation) are questioned in one review low
Theme 'declining value and inaccurate features' identified in recent_reviews #3. Reviewer 3 calls the app 'useless' with a yearly subscription, citing inaccurate credit score, incomplete transaction detection, and ineffective cancellation help.
Evidence (1)
“Rocket Money used to be great but over time it has turned into another useless app with a yearly subscription that does nothing valuable. The credit score is inaccurate, budgeting doesn't work because it doesn't detect half your transactions, and they don't actually help with cancelling subscription”Rating: 1★ May 29, 2025 844 likes

4★Very good at letting me know when a bill is upcoming, as well as when my credit card has been charged a larger than usual amount. I love that feature, since you can't always trust the people who handle your credit card (restaurants, etc) and gives you a chance to get on top of a possible theft. I love adding each purchase to a category for ease of budgeting too. I love seeing the subscriptions I have coming up, so I can cancel them as needed, too. I do love RocketMoney!! I don't like the fee.

5★There is something to be said about a piece of mind when it comes to personal finances. Rocket Money places all your bills and spending into easy to read categories. I like that once the initial set up was done, the numbers didn't have to be entered manually. There is so much helpful advice on budgeting and credit use. No pressure to use any of the programs, or pay for subscriptions. Oh, they also kill subscriptions you don't want. The best sell for me was saving 80 dollars car insurance!

1★Rocket Money used to be great but over time it has turned into another useless app with a yearly subscription that does nothing valuable. The credit score is inaccurate, budgeting doesn't work because it doesn't detect half your transactions, and they don't actually help with cancelling subscriptions or anything like that, they just have links that take you to the website to do it yourself. I was a happy subscriber for over a year, but now I've deleted my account and the app and will not return.

3★The app is good for a one-stop look at your accounts. It claims it can lower your bills, but that feature has never once been successful. It pretended to work once, lowered my Metronet bill by a bit, forced me to pay part of that saving, and then my next bill was increased by the same amount. I was charged for the app doing nothing.

5★This app is a lot better than I'd hoped it would be, it has genuinely helped me save 100s, probably 1,000s by now! Being able to see exactly where every penny goes and sorting it into categories really helps you get a visual on your finances, on where you can improve and on where you need to spend less. And on top of that, they let you choose how much you pay for your subscription per month! That truly shows good character I believe, love this app and the support team (they are great) 10/10
