Varo Bank: Online Banking

Been a year since I made the first 2 star review and it's a problem again. Varo locked me out of my account temporarily for too many attempts signing in. I was putting in CORRECT information!! NOT my fault if the stupid system didn't recognize it. I understand this is for security reasons but once I proved it was my account, it should have been immediately unlocked. I just deposited all my money in last night & today I need to pay bills!!! I better not get late fees because Varo screwed up!!

It was nice at first, but after two years it's more of a pain. The credit builder is nice, but it's not as useful as they claim. It's virtually impossible to take out large sums of cash (for rent, etc) since they only use CVS/Walgreens. Some atms work but the fees are crazy. No checks since it's all digital. A lot of banks won't recognize transfers from varo. Customer service is AI or outsourced. Not a bad starter bank or while you're moving, but not great for the long term.

App won't open let alone let me login. First it was a buggy slow paced mess where a transfer took 3 minutes just to get through it. Now the app just auto crashes each time you open it. The 5% on my savings account is no longer worth that pain it is to try and access the money. If you want more security and reliability, look else where. Hard to recommend an app when there's a 75/25 percent chance of you being able to access the money.

Cannot even sign i to the app. The moment I select sign in the app crashes and kicks me out of it. I've deleted the app, I've deleted the cache and the data, nothing works. I have never once even had the chance to experience any part of the app other than the sign up/sign in screen. Can't see any reason To go forward with using this bank even though I did open an account online on my laptop.

This app worked fine up until a month ago. Now I can no longer use the app. I hit log in and it immediately crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Cleared all data and cache. Nothing works. Varo told me that I need to update the app. Waited for the next update and it still doesn't work. This really sucks and makes me want to close my account.
