Walmart: Shopping & Savings

I was sick of amazon so I thought I'd give Walmart plus a try but so far everything I've ordered I've picked out for the next day shipping but it never arrives the next day. I always end up waiting 2-3 days even though I'm ordering based on the fact that it's supposed to arrive the next day. I would understand if it only happened once but it's happened 3 times in a row now. And on things I couldn't wait for so I had to buy them on instacart and pay a fee plus a tip and then return to Walmart.

I used to be able to order just 2/3 groceries as needed with no fee. Now I have to order $35 or be charged $7! I do not have transportation so I rely on delivery, but I'm also very low income so I don't always have enough to make a $35 order. When I make a big order to prevent that from happening no one wants to deliver! Go back to no minimum for delivery. I'm already paying a Walmart + membership!!!!

Surprisingly bad. I expected a massive company like Walmart to build a functional app. Since walmart refuses to install tap-to-pay at their registers, I downloaded this app to use my credit card saved on my phone. Upon opening the app, it demands my exact location then spends 20 minutes frozen in the loading screen. When it finally loads, I input my payment info and the app freezes again for several minutes. After 30 mins of repeating these steps I could make a purchase. Awful UI and loading.

The app is decent & is actually very helpful if you need to find a section of a store you aren't familiar with. However, the shopping part is HORRIBLE. They rarely follow the delivery instructions, they rarely find all of my order, the last 3 times I ordered fruit it was rotten when I received it, and a couple of times my bread has been crushed because they laid the heavy items on top of it.

NEVER use Walmart for groceries if you're looking to cook at home. They rarely have everything they say it's in stock. Also, the fact that you cannot add an item in the cart when it's unavailable is beyond me when the item is available an hour later. The substitution options are limited to whatever the shopper decides. If you pick your own it doesn't matter. I always have to drive to King Kullen to get what's missing from my recipe and it's always something important. 2 stars because... Cheap
