4★This is the best app that I have found for learning the guitar. They just make everything easy to learn.I feel like I have made some real progress. The only reason there isn't 5 stars in the review is because it would be sooo much better if they added more country music. there are so many great songs that I would absolutely love to learn and I just feel like my options are limited.I feel like they should add more Cody Johnson or Randy Travis or any traditional artist really

5★You can search whatever songs you want to play through their inventory, change difficulties, practice with slower beats. If your learning guitar the price of 2 hrs for lessons is equivalent to 12 months subscription with yousician. Highly recommend. P.s. to Yousician: add an area where subscribers can request certain songs be added to song inventory like certain older songs or some one hit wonders. Much appreciated.

2★Overall decent app, it's taught me everything I know. HOWEVER, I can only describe the learn feature as infuriating and a couple small tweaks would make the experience so much better. The automatic progression is good in theory, but I can't nail everything first try, and I hate that I can only play at my own pace once before it ramps up. Let me choose my own pace! Love the "loop" option on perform. Have a toggle for auto ramping up, add loop to every song, add tabs, and I'd say 5 stars.

4★this is one of the best apps I have found to learn guitar again. Played bass for long time but now I've gone to a regular acoustic guitar and trying to learn. this app has been perfect for what I need my only complaint. The only reason there's four stars is because the yearly subscription is so expensive. it's almost impossible for a lot of people to pay that much. It should be more affordable so more people can you utilize this great app. the free version is pretty decent for free just slower

5★I was frustrated with its chord detection, but when I grabbed the reasonably priced Fender Mustang and connected it to the app, it was better, but not perfect. I'm not a fan of rock, blues, or metal music, but they are the most popular genre for the guitar. The video tutorials are short and sweet, but I do have to supplement them with YouTube. Overall, I made A LOT of progress within the first month and didn't pay a lot for an annual subscription. That's worth 5 stars.
