AlphaNovel — Books & Stories

I got 8 chapters deep in a 63 chapter book only to be forced to pay to keep reading. There was no option to watch ads for coins to unlock new chapters. I looked to see if there was a subscription feature, $9.99 a WEEK!!! I pay that a month for another book app subscription. I'll finish this book because I'm into it, then I'm deleting the app. That price is a rip-off, especially when the ad I clicked on to get AlphaNovel said 'all chapters free!'. Giving 2 stars because the book is really good.

I dislike the app. It is almost impossible to cancel the subscription. It is not user friendly and I believe that is purposely done. I would not recommend this app for reading. After purchasing you can't read online it forces you to download the app then charges for coins and like I said before just canceling the subscription on android is hard. I will have to dispute the charge since I can't cancel the subscription after emailing support they were of no assistance. Do NOT Download!

I typically do not like "sappy romance novels". The novels that catch my eye are shown to me as an Ad so that I can get another turn playing Arrow Escape. Some stories that catch my eye, and get me to read past the second page, have the gimmick of shape shifting (to wolves. why not panthers? lynx?) or magic or some hidden super power. I'll allow some love story to as it doesn't get excessive. I understand the apps need to make money, so I'll watch a commercial to open the next chapter.

this is another pay app. basically you over pay for a membership subscription for censored books that are telling the same story with different character names. watch three ads to unlock one chapter and you can only unlock a few a day. I watch more ads than read. Honestly cheaper just to buy the books off Amazon instead of spending the hundreds here to watch ads to pay the app. I get paid to watch ads and way more than a couple of pages in payment. just frustrated the ad ratio is killing it.

I dont know how to feel. I thought it was a really good app. There is a free feature. This feature does have a daily cap which is understandable. The book I am reading is really good, the app easy to use, and you can spend as little as a dollar at a time. Unfortunately, 3/4s of the way into this book I could barely put down, the app has completely stopped working. It just shows a loading circle or the wolf head on a black screen. No updates nothing. I think Im going to have to delete it.
