Top tier animations, artwork, the UI is clean and pretty simplified to work everything, very generous starting rewards. But not everyone is going to like it, only roughly 25-50% of the game can be done with mindless button mashing... because the rest of the game forces you to use a different combination of characters with different skills to complete more of the higher tier missions, so the game suddenly transforms from simple button mashing to a more strategy team building based game.

*UPDATED REVIEW* Support has went downhill over the years for this game. I can't even contact anyone without jumping through a lot of hoops. The game constantly crashes even if you use their "low latency" setting. My device is up to date so they can't blame it on that. it's upsetting to lose event based tokens because you were kicked out of a quest due to a crash, and every time you enter that one event quest the game continues to crash.

It's still a really fun game to get your hands into. Back then, I tried to get into it from 2016, but it wasn't really my type of gameplay until certain Dressrosa characters came into the fray. It's simple but addictingly fun and has plenty of your favorite characters waiting to join your crew! All you have to do is to get stronger, gather as many items as you need, and set sail as time goes by. Eventually, you'll get used to the timing of the attacks.

I absolutely love one piece and everything about it, and I can see that this game has a lot of heart in it, but it's VERY overwhelming for newcomers. The game throws a lot at you all at once, various mechanics, stats, team compositions, etc., and doesn't explain any of it very well. There are A LOT of concepts to grasp immediately and it just felt way too busy for my taste unfortunately.. If you took the time to learn it I'm sure you could appreciate the game, but it was too much for me.

Hard to tell where to go when you get started, and all the guides they point to are over 2 years old, and some mechanics aren't in the game anymore. It's hard to tell what characters are good or whether or not auto power-ups messed up what you could get from doing it individually. Honestly, it's a harder learning curve than it needs to be. But animations are on point, and game play is fun when you get a hang of it
