I am shocked by the high rating this app has. If you get a notification, then you select the video, it takes you to the video but it just says it's decrypting and never plays. You have to go into events. The app stacks notifications all at the same time. You might not get the notification until hours later sometimes. Then you get so many notifications that you ask Android to mute, but Eufy ignores the mute for 1 hour request. So you have to go back into the app to adjust, then hope you remember.

Update: The app has been terrible lately. Nothing in my home has changed in terms of wifi, Internet, etc. The app takes forever to load camera views. it'll fail to load any clips that were recorded. It's getting increasingly frustrating and has made me start looking into other ecosystems. I was originally looking into the homebase 3, but what's to say reliability won't be just as bad?

Do not buy eufy products until the app is fixed. Until recently, I've recommended eufy to several family/friends. But I won't be doing so any time soon. Like many others have said, the recent updates have caused the app to open slowly and videos to load slowly. Nothing else has changed on my end that could have caused this. Until this is resolved, the "security" feature of eufy cameras is useless. By the time you're able to view the notification, whatever triggered it will be gone. Fix your app!

App keeps getting worse and worse. It super slow and laggy. I can try to open it to respond to a visitor but sometimes it takes so long that the person already walked away. It doesn't always show me the events, I can scroll down my events list and it will just stop scrolling, you can see there are events below it just won't scroll down. I'll get event notifications for events, but they never show up in the events page. Once I view them from the notification, they are gone forever.

I have four Eufy devices that are now basically worthless due to the Eufy app not functioning properly. The fact that it hasn't been fixed by now is a huge letdown and is completely unacceptable. In fact, I ended up having to leave my house unlocked one day because the fingerprint scanner malfunctioned and locked me out. I figured I'd just use one app when I got to work...nope! I've used Eufy for years, but now cannot trust the company.
