Southwest Airlines: Travel App

App works properly, great to have when flying. Can track your flight and see your boarding pass. If you're flying Southwest, download the app. Would recommend. The only reason I deducted a star is that they canceled my flight and I never got an email telling me. If I hadn't been flying with 17 other individuals, I wouldn't have known to check my app or website. It just disappeared from my account like it was never there. The only way I knew, was by entering my confirmation #.

terrible app. I am trying to just see my boarding pass when I am getting on a plane, should be simple right? Yet somehow this simple task is requiring me to recheck in each time, and just overall cumbersome to use. Then on top of that, I get pop up ads to buy more of your terrible flight service? I already paid you and you still gotta do that just to inconvenience people who already paid you? Never again.

I get it, with changing times there are changing functions. Even so, there are multiple times I have had issues. First is comparing points to dollars, it requires you to do the entire search. Second, when selecting seats, there will not be an indication whether or not there will be a cost. Third, even when a flight arrives, it may not display a delay even while it is reflected in the terminal. The customer support information is also a time sink.

Sorry, but the app is garbage.. EVERY time I try modifying a flight the app crashes and I have to call in to make the change, adding 30 mins. The last time, the dumb app quoted a price, and apparently in the ONE minute it took to select the seat on the next leg of the flight THE PRICE CHANGED FOR THE SEAT ON THR FIRST LEG!!! So when trying to pay i got an error about the PRICE HAS CHANGED. You shouldn't be able to do that once you quote a price and it's selected. Why even have the app....

This app was great until recently. I use Galaxy S25 w/ latest OS. When I try to open my boarding pass, the "Hazardous Materials Warning" page pops up, as it always has. Normally, I would simply hit "accept," and would then access my boarding pass. Now, when the hazardous warning pops up, there are so many 'hazards' listed I can no longer see the "accept' button, nor can i minimize it or scroll down - can't get past the screen!! Can't access boarding pass!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!
